How I started off
Tomorrow is the first day of my internship. I know two other girls who are going to be in my team. I google them. Check out their linkedin profile. Both of them are undergrads - one in CS, other in telecom. Both of them seem very comfortable and passionate about programming. I am a grad student in EECN. I somehow escaped coding throughout my career so far. But today, in 2017, I realize that I have no way out. I have to learn coding. I know its importance but it looks tedious to me. I feel like I have so much to catch up with. I don't like being average. It is going to take so much time to be on par with people of my age or younger who are already into programming.
